The Bucks Bird Club indoor meeting for December will be on the 5th December at St Annes Hall, Wendover starting at 7.30pm. Non-members are very welcome.

Two tawny owl boxes put up today near Latimer with help from the owners. Beautiful piece of Chilterns woodland, they should do well. 🦉

In cooler temperatures, Barn Owls are able to adapt their hunting style to stay warm. Rather than gliding through the air, some prefer to hunt from posts and perches, conserving precious body heat and energy 🥰
